Cassandra Faustini is a former New York City bicycle messenger and current bicycle mechanic, bicycle activist, and all-around bicycle enthusiast. She moved to Connecticut in 2016 and has been committed to helping grow Connecticut bike culture.
Cassandra received the 2016 Quality Bicycle Components Women's Scholarship and received her mechanic's certification from United Bicycle Institute in Ashland, Oregon. Cassandra was the Professional Bicycle Mechanics Association's featured Mechanic of the Month in July 2017.
In 2018, Cassandra received her certification to teach cycling safety courses from the League of American Bicyclists and has been teaching cycling safety for the New Haven Coalition for Active Transit. Cassandra can often be found working at the Devil's Gear Bike Shop or volunteering at Chainbreakers, the Bradley St. Bicycle Co-op's women's/trans/femme repair clinic.
